We worked together to create a stickman village after reading The Stickman story. We made a deep dark woods, a park and a doctors.
We made a map of the world using natural resources and tracked Captain James Cook’s journey from England to New Zealand. Danielle noticed the words ‘North’, ‘South’, ‘East’ and ‘West’ in an atlas and then some of purple group made the words using leaves.
Sheatiel collected leaves of all different colours. We then used them to make a funny face on the floor. Sheatiel named himLeaf Man! What else could we do with our multicoloured leaf collection?
Some of the Reception children were very excited to discover different colour leaves in the mud kitchen. Can you explain (as a comment) why the leaves are falling off the trees?
