We decided to use the cress we have been growing to make egg and cress sandwiches. We all helped out with different jobs. We have been learning to follow and write instructions so we followed instructions to make the sandwiches.
Delicious! We thought the cress tasted a little peppery.
We weren’t sure we would like vegetable curry but everyone did! We really loved the garlic and coriander naan bread too.
As we are expecting a visit from some teachers from India we decided to learn about the food eaten in India. We cooked vegetable curry and garlic and coriander naan bread.
We used the new ingredients to make Thai Green Beans. We were impressed with the smell and taste of the ginger, we thought it smelt fresh and tasted a Simon thought it tasted ‘zingy!’
Jack has brought us some beans from his beanstalk. We have hoisin sauce, soy sauce, peanut butter, spring onions, ginger and green beans…I wonder what we could be cooking today?
This week it was class 1 and 2s responsibility to make flapjacks for the rest of the school for snack time. Of course we had to check they were ok…they were!!
